Residential Inspections, Inc. provides home inspection services conducted to the ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) Standards
of Practice and Code of Ethics. In addition, we provide many different environmental inspections as noted below.

Environmental Services
Kitchen Tap Water Sampling
|
|
Includes collecting a draw sample from the tap to determine the presence of lead in the system piping.

Well Water Sampling
|
|
Services include sample collection per EPA protocol for testing the presence of coliform bacteria, lead and nitrate/nitrate.

Lead Hazard Screen
|
|
Service includes the collection composite samples from potentially hazardous zones within the property. Sample results are analyzed
and letter issued within 5 business days from the collection of the sample. I am a Commonwealth of Virginia Certified Lead Risk Assessor.

Mold and Mildew Survey
|
|
Service includes surveying the affected area and collection of a representative sample for analysis to determine the type of mold present.
|
Indoor Air Quality Survey
|
|
Includes collecting a bulk air sample from the property and analyzing it for over 7000 potential chemical hazards. Additional
sampling may be required to determine the exact nature of the contamiment.

RADON Survey
|
|
Service includes setting one continuous air flow monitor per EPA Protocol at the test location for a minimum of 24 hours
(size of home may indicate the need for two monitors).

All environmental services include a written report documenting site activities, chain of custody documentation and laboratory analysis.
